U1P-Gear SAE 75W-140 Synthetic Gear Oil, API GL-5 is formulated with synthetic base oils and specialty performance additives to provide improved high-temperature thermal and oxidative stability in a wide range of operating conditions. Specialty anti-cuffing additives and friction modifiers provide advanced protection and lubricity in extreme pressure conditions. Additionally, Ultra1Plus Limited Slip Gear Oils are shear stable while also resisting rust, oxidation, foaming, and varnish.
U1P-Gear SAE 75W-140 Synthetic Gear Oil, API GL-5 is designed for use in all seasons and exceed the year-round, all-weather performance viscosity requeriments of SAE J306 as well as the rigorous performance requirements of API GL-5 and MT-1. API Category GL-5 designates the type of service characteristc of gears, particularly hypoids in automotive axles under high-speed and/or low-speed, high-torque conditions.
Lubricants meeting API MT-1 provide protection against the combination of thermal degradation, component wear, and oil deterioration which is not provided by lubricants meeting only the requirements of API GL-5.
These oils also meet or exceed the rperformance requirements of the following industry and OEM specifications: API GL-5, API MT-1, Mack GO-J Plus (75W-90), Mack GO-J (75W-140), SAE J2360, and Meritor O76-E.

- Avoid extremes of temperature.
- Product in cardboard cartons must be stored under cover and away from damp conditions.
- Drums (barrels) should be stored under cover if possible.
- If drums must be stored outside then lay them on their side to prevent water collecting around the bungs.
Note: SAE 75W-140 Synthetic Gear Oil, API GL-5, MT-01 is available in bulk quantities at substantial savings. Use of bulk oil products is environmentally proactive.
